Flexible module in roll form for large-area applications

The Z-Flex LED module from LUMITRONIX® was produced on the new Flex production line using the roll-to-roll process in the dimensions 5600 x 280 mm based on the Zhaga standard and has a total of 980 LEDs with a color temperature of 4000 K equipped. The entire roll consists of 20 sheets with 49 LEDs each, which can be separated every 280 mm. Due to the low forward voltage of 24 V, the flexible module is safe to touch and there is no risk of voltage flashovers if the sheets are separated.

Due to its standardized dimensions, the flexible matrix module Z-Flex is suitable for large-area applications such as installation in grid ceiling lights or as background lighting for light ceilings covered with fabric.

Significant advantages in terms of installation and costs

Compared to rigid matrix modules, the flexible Z-Flex module has several advantages: Since the production takes place in the R2R process over a length of 5.6 meters, the module can be operated over the entire length with just one feed. In addition, the self-adhesive backing ensures easy and quick installation. This means that time-consuming activities such as screwing and wiring are a thing of the past. In addition, the roll shape minimizes aspects such as storage costs and transport.
