Cree XP-E2 SMD LED, 122lm, green
Beschreibung
With its 3.45mm x 3.45mm footprint, the XP series is one of the new micro high-power LEDs. This type of LED package is increasingly establishing itself as the standard for all major manufacturers. Cree, Nichia and Osram are now producing their high-power LED flagships in housings that are almost the same to a tenth of a millimeter. The centrally placed chip and the square shape ensure even heat dissipation and easy processing. The small size is reflow-capable and therefore particularly designed for machine assembly and soldering.
Same size, higher lumen values
When developing the XP-E2, Cree drew on its revolutionary SC³ Technology™. With the existing XP-E design, the LEDs achieve higher lumen values per watt and thus reduce system costs. XP-E 2 LEDs use the same footprint as XP-E LEDs and are optically compatible, allowing for a seamless transition to more lumens and higher efficiency.
The XP-E2 can be used for a wide range of high lumen applications, whether indoors or outdoors, in portable devices or as a replacement for traditional lighting. The XLamp XP-E2 is a colored LED and delivers up to 88% more light output than comparable high-power colored LEDs. This enables lighting manufacturers to more cost-effectively develop a wide range of applications such as architectural, automotive and display lighting.
