Cree MK-R SMD LED, 970lm, 6200K, CRI 65

In 2011, Cree brought an LED onto the market that broke through the 200 lm/W mark for the first time under laboratory conditions. With the MK-R LED from the XLamp series, such a result is now even possible at 1 W and 25 °C. This was made possible by the innovative SC3 technology developed by Cree, which is already integrated in all new Cree XLamp LEDs. The SC3 platform includes a silicon carbide technology and some enhancements in the areas of LED chip architecture and phosphor technology. In single LED systems, the MK-R offers one of the best cross-unit color consistency in the entire LED industry. For systems with multiple LEDs, the MK-R allows users to use fewer LEDs while maintaining the same light output and color consistency. The XLamp MK-R is designed for directional lighting applications and represents an extension for applications that require high luminous efficacy, a compact light source and a wide range of color temperatures.
